As an addendum to my coverage of the 2016 Rhône vintage, this collection of tasting notes respresents a nose through the region's back catalogue.

There are greatest hits from the likes of Domaine Jamet, Guigal, Chapoutier, August Clape, Georges Vernay, Clos des Pape and Domaine de la Vieille Julienne, covering vintages as far back as 1979. It is a representation of what the Rhône can achieve at its best and, in many cases, what lies in store for the best of the 2016s.
