2011 Barolo Riserva and more 2013 Barolo

The following 41 Barolo 2013 tasting notes I gathered during this year’s Grandi Langhe, an event that has partly replaced Nebbiolo Prima. The latter was the annual presentation of Barolo, Barbaresco and outsider Roero, much-criticised because of its enormous number of wines, some 500 embryonic Nebbiolos in total, to be tasted during five consecutive mornings only. I always felt that it penalised both the wines and the taster.
