Pomerol, again, is the undoubted right-bank star of 2015 with a trio of particularly successful wines in Vieux Château Certan, Petrus and Lafleur, and VCC perhaps the wine of the vintage. There is lusciously ripe fruit with sufficient tannin in the best wines, which undoubtedly benefited from a relatively dry September after a particularly hot, dry early summer and some welcome rain in August.
