The on-off-on, coronavirus-disturbed 2019 Bordeaux en primeur campaign finally leapt into life mid May with prices continuing to tumble out as I write. Tastings in Bordeaux, mainly for the négociants, have run in parallel, although samples to locked-down journalists had already been winging their way around the world...
