Ch La Tour Haut-Brion back to 1947

 

Linden Wilkie, the New Zealander who runs the Fine Wine Experience series of wine tasting evenings in London with charm and diplomacy, invited me to his vertical tasting of La Tour Haut Brion recently. A very good time was had by all – well me anyway. Neal Martin and I waltzed down memory lane together, sitting in the very same seats at the Institute of Directors as we had when we had first been introduced by Wilkie at a Ch Lafleur tasting in 2004. Then I was HRH. Now he is Critic-at-Large.
