18 August 2020 With the harvest already well underway, a deal has been struck between growers and houses. The yield agreed upon is a compromise of 8,000 kg/ha, although 1,000 kg of that may not be bottled as champagne before January 2022. If 2021 sales are below 200 million bottles, that 1,000 kg/ha may not be bottled at all.
