Washington's largest producer just became the premier player in Oregon wine.
Yesterday morning, Oregon’s wine industry reverberated with the news that Chateau Ste Michelle, already the largest producer in Washington and in the Pacific Northwest (see Washington – from your own correspondent), had become the largest producer in Oregon with the acquisition of A to Z Wineworks (whose production facility is pictured above) and Rex Hill brands.
