Dom Pérignon is of course the jewel in the massively important crown that is Moët et Chandon, the biggest champagne house by far. It was also the original de luxe champagne. As such it has masses of creative energy lavished on both making and selling it, as it is clearly a hugely important brand in the extensive stable of LVMH-owned drinks. I may be wrong but I always sense a certain rivalry between Dom P and that other luxury LVMH brand Krug. Today I concentrate on the former.
