I see that Corney & Barrow are making their offer of Domaine Leflaive’s 2005s today – by email, a sign of the times. I tasted the range last week and was extremely impressed with everything from Puligny-Montrachet village level upwards. Actually I see I even gave 16.5 to the Bourgogne Blanc and then everything else 17 and above. The Folatières and Pucelles were showing particularly well among grands crus but both Anne-Claude Leflaive and Pierre Morey were mystified by how surly the Combetter suddenly was last Friday.
