As I’ve already mentioned, there was a particularly interesting tasting of pairs of wines from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti last week: Échézeaux and La Tâche in 2005, 2001, 1996 and 1990 organised by DRC’s UK agents Corney & Barrow.
Three bottles of each wine were available for about 60 tasters, of whom precisely two, plus me and C&B’s wine buyer Alison Buchanan, were female.
