This little collection of 40-odd tasting notes includes some particularly thrilling Austrian whites and a wide range of quality from Germany. I had the pleasure of visiting Austria last June at the time of its annual VieVinum wine fair. It is so busy and well attended that I was unable to take my many notes on my laptop and it has taken all this time to transcribe my scrawls.
