Jubilee – new German specialist

I'm always bemoaning how few specialist importers of Germany's increasingly fine wines there are in the UK. But now a newcomer has joined the rather thin ranks that currently comprise Justerini & Brooks, Montrachet, Howard Ripley, The WineBarn and The Winery. (Please let me know if I have left anyone out.)

I don't know if it is deliberate but Jubilee Wines instantly shoots to the front of this alphabetical list. The company has been set up in Leeds by enthusiast Martin Santos Merx, who has imported a small but unusual and interesting range of hand-crafted wines – all on offer...
