One of New Zealand's most talented and unusual young winemakers has been recruited to make wine in Australia's Hunter Valley, at Mount Eyre Vineyards from the 2004 vintage.
C P Lin will continue to make wine at Mountford outside Christchurch in the South Island which has produced some of New Zealand's most sublte Pinot Noirs. But the Canterbury climate is so much cooler than the sultry Hunter Valley's that it should be quite feasible to take care of the Hunter vintage before being needed at Mountford.
