Portugal Top 50 2011

The exciting if daunting responsibility of choosing 50 top Portuguese wines falls to me this year, as Jancis reported here, following in the footsteps of Tom Cannavan of wine-pages.com. This made me all the more eager to see which wines Tom had chosen – from over 1,000 wines he has tasted over the last 12 months – and to  taste the final line-up presented in London recently.
