Rex Hill sold to A to Z

A to Z Wineworks in Dundee is in the process of purchasing Rex Hill Vineyards near Newberg, in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. A to Z, a rapidly growing negociant of high-quality wines priced at $20 or less (Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay), needed a winemaking facility and tasting room; Rex Hill co-owners Paul Hart and Jan Jacobsen, fixtures since in 1983, wanted to retire. Voilà.
