Flint Wines, of which Stannary is the retail arm, has a fine reputation for its burgundies. So, as the price of them has skyrocketed, it is not surprising that the buying team has looked for better-value alternatives. The west coast of the US is as good a place to look as any, although A&B Vintners have pretty much swept the Oregon cupboard bare.
