To me, L'Église sounds halfway between legless and legalese – hardly the most appealing scenario. Thankfully a 20-vintage vertical of Clos L'Église was entirely enjoyable, and provided a useful snapshot of this Pomerol estate over some of the best and not-so-best vintages since 1997.
