Young white burgundies – some great buys

As we know from threads such as this one on our Members' forum, some wine lovers have fallen out of love with white burgundy completely. But tasting my way through a selection of Mâconnais whites from The Wine Society in the UK recently was a thoroughly uplifting experience. What wonderful value there is to be had south of the Côte d'Or – the white wine counterpart of Beaujolais to a certain extent and, apparently, as reluctant to increase prices as Beaujolais growers.
