The 2020 vintage in the Langhe (and elsewhere) will be remembered against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. With Italy’s national lockdown in March came great uncertainty for Italy's viticulture, which in large part depends on foreign workers who are hired for the growing season and harvest but who could not travel to the peninsula.
