Wine bulletin boards have been buzzing with speculation about who might be drafted in by Robert Parker to fill the large hole left by the decision by his assistant and heir-apparent Pierre Rovani to return to the wine trade. Italian specialist Daniel Thomases has already left The Wine Advocate team, leaving only our good friend David Schildknecht, who covers Rieslingland for TWA, on the masthead.
