The final morning of Cape Wine 2012 has dawned, and I am looking forward to another full day of conference-hall tasting more than I ever would have expected.
South African wine is on top form, and there are several factors that are making the difference. Firstly, the Cape rubber aroma seems a thing of the past. For a long time this was a defining feature of South African red in particular, seemingly across all varieties.
